On the January 20th, 2025, Prof. Frank Kirchhoff, Member of Academia Europaea, professor of Molecular Physiology at Saarland University Medical School, and President of German Neuroscience Society, along with some of his research team members, visited China Pharmaceutical University (CPU). CPU President, Prof. Hao Haiping welcomed the delegation and awarded Prof. Kirchhoff an honorary professorship of CPU. Prof. Hao Haiping and Prof. Frank Kirchhoffjointly unveiled the Pharmaceutical Research Center for Gender-specific Biology and Medicine under the framework ofThe Global Alliance for the Development of Pharmaceutical Science (GADPS). Both sides reached consensus on the plan of holding 2025 China-Germany Bilateral Forum, aiming to carry out joint research in the long run.
